Ryan J. Tenta

Ryan holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and completed his degree in Law at the University of Victoria in 2019 and then articled with us and we were pleased to keep Ryan as an associate after his call to the British Columbia Bar. 

Ryan underwent several co op work placements during his time as a law student. He spent a winter in Whitehorse working as a legal research intern for the Yukon Department of Justice. He would later spend his final semester as a law student at the British Columbia Employment Standards Branch as an Employment Standards Officer. In this role, Ryan conducted investigations and issued Determinations regarding complaints filed under the Employment Standards Act. This work as an Officer gave Ryan unique early insights into putting cases together and to how to justify difficult and contested decisions with solid reasoning and factual support. 

In his spare time Ryan enjoys exploring Victoria, reading, and keeping up to date with politics and current events.
